India has world class seafood processing plants that follow quality control regimes, compliant to stringent International Regulatory Requirements.

IISS 2016 is focusing on "Safe and Sustainable Indian Aquaculture" to highlight the technological advances and sustainable practices followed in Capture & Culture Fisheries in India. Indian Fishermen, Aqua Farmers and Seafood Exporters have made it their tradition to conduct their activities in a sustainable way and in harmony with nature. Increasing export of value added exports to about half of the total quantity, will also be a key component of marine products export plan of India. The way to go forward on this will involve more technological back-up, which can be provided through the participants of this show from abroad and in India.
